Safety issues pole and Basket ball ring wobble

Pole and bolt and poorly designed , not possible to fix tight its wobble

Hi Neil,
Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. Last week you kindly shared the photos and videos we requested of your product and the base has been attached to the pole in the wrong direction. This means that the base is under the net, and when the ball hits the backboard, the product does wobble and sometimes fall backwards because the base is not positioned correctly to provide a counterbalance to that force. The base needs to be attached to the pole so that it is not under the net, and faces away. We sent you images to support this, with colour coded annotations of your photos, as well as screen-shots of the assembly manual from the manufacturer. You advised that the NDIS fund a fortnightly handyman service and that he has advised the product is faulty. We sent further emails showing how the poles/bolts had not been assembled correctly and we are concerned that there is someone providing assistance to you and invoicing you for services when they have insufficient skills. We can 100% assure you that the product has not been assembled correctly for you. We would like to communicate with you further to speak to your plan manager or support coordinator on your behalf so that they may be able to provide local support as we are in a different state to you. You are continuing to make NDIS orders with us, and we will follow up privately with emails to you. We will also try to reach you on the phone to try to help. We hope you are keeping well and thank you for supporting an Australian family business.

Featuring a mega-tough steel frame, the Basketball System provides an instant set up that is suitable for kids and youth, junior players and grown-ups alike. With five height choices, it can be adjusted to your preferred height of between 1.6m and 2.1m.

The regular-size shatterproof 71x45cm backboard is made from durable PE and looks and plays like pro-style glass while the massive 35L base fills easily with water or sand to provide a stable foundation. Not least, the roller wheels makes for easy maneuverability and the included nylon net is nice touch.
