Balance
Why does balance work matter for autistic children?
Balance depends on the vestibular system — the part of the inner ear that tells the brain where the head is and how it is moving. When that information arrives differently, a child may seem clumsy, avoid playground equipment, or spin and swing constantly.
Physiotherapists work on this with slow, repeatable movement: standing on an unstable surface, stepping along a line, holding a position while looking somewhere else. Core strength grows alongside it, which then makes sitting at a desk far less exhausting.
Our range includes wobble and stability discs, a balance plate, wooden balance toys, exercise balls, an inflatable air track and larger equipment like a trampoline and a kick scooter. Schools set a short circuit before literacy blocks. At home, parents often keep a stability disc by the television, where practice happens without anyone calling it practice.
Everything ships free and tracked within Australia with no minimum order. Seven days to change your mind applies to the smaller gear; large equipment such as the trampoline is excluded for freight reasons, which our refund policy sets out. Faulty goods are covered whatever their size, with return postage paid by us.
